The IT-park of PetrSU held a working meeting with the heads of the enterprises of the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency - FMRTA "Rosmorport" and Onega Shipyard.

FMRTA "Rosmorport" is the largest operator of auxiliary fleet in Russia.

The Rector of PetrSU A. Voronin told the guests about the directions of innovative development of the University, of Russian and foreign customers and partners of Petrozavodsk State University’s innovative centers and small businesses, the University’s various forms of interaction with industries. Anton Shabayev, the Director of "Karelian engineering company", presented Petrozavodsk State University’s high technology products in the field of industrial processes automation systems. The guests got acquainted with the developments of nanoelectronic devices and radar systems.

In the laboratory of robotics, the members of the delegation were interested in the IT-park’s developments in the area of video detection devices and technologies of unmanned robotic devices. Andrew Lavrischev, the executive director of "Rosmorport", talked about the tasks that the company needed to address in Arctic conditions for different types of vessels, including icebreakers.

The participants of the working meeting outlined possible ways of their cooperation.
