PetrSU Projects Won at the HI-TECH Expo

On March 12-14 Saint Petersburg hosted the Petersburg Technical Fair and HI-TECH Expo. The opening ceremony of the event featured the Acting Governor of Saint Petersburg Aleksandr Beglov.

On March 12-14 Saint Petersburg hosted the Petersburg Technical Fair and HI-TECH Expo. The opening ceremony of the event featured the Acting Governor of Saint Petersburg Aleksandr Beglov.

This year the expo convened over 200 participants from 7 countries: Germany, Italy, Czechia, the Republic of Belarus, India, China, Turkey, and over 20 regions of Russia.

Petrozavodsk State University is a regular participant of the Petersburg Technical Fair (PTF). Innovative projects and developments of the university annually take part in the prestigious contest “Best innovative project and best research and technology” and receive a high estimate from the expert committee.

This year the contest featured innovative projects and developments in machine building, metallurgy, metal processing, instrument making, robotics, nanotechnologies, information and educational technologies, ecology, biotechnologies, medicine etc.

All 8 innovative projects and developments presented by PetrSU became prize-winners and were awarded gold and silver medals.

The development of OOO Nanoseti small innovative enterprise “Innovative MIMU 2.5 high-definition module of inertial navigation for recording trajectory of wheeled vehicles” was highly assessed by the expert group and awarded a gold medal.

In the nomination “Educational technologies” a gold medal was awarded to the development of the Institute of High Biomedical Technologies “Imitator of normal and pathological urine for using in biomedical simulation technologies”.

The development “Solid-state drives on the base of integral memory chips produced with the use of 3D multicrystal packaging technology”, created within the project of the Federal Target Program “Creation of solid-state data storage systems with the use of integral chips of high integration level produced with the use of 3D multicrystal packaging technology” became the gold medal winner.

FireRoll, a unit for processing wooden particles developed by the Department of Technology and Management in Forestry, was awarded a gold medal.

The silver medal winners are:

“Automated smart system for feeding fish in cages”, development of the Engineering Park.

“Nanoporous alumunuim oxide membranes”, development of the Nelan-oksid plus small innovative enterprise and the laboratory “Physics of Nanostructured Oxide Films and Coatings”.

“Hybrid technology of production of multicrystal chips with simultaneous use of Flip-Chip and Wire Bond packaging processes”, the project of the Department of Information Measuring Systems and Physical Electronics implemented within the Federal Target Program “Research and development in priority areas of scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation for 2014-2020”.

“Development of a prototype of specialized software of deviation and evasion of flying platform obstacles on a certain distance while maintaining the given direction in a horizontal plane”, the development of the UNITRONIKA small innovative enterprise.

The Petersburg Fair featured the following booths: metal procession, machine building, metallurgy, foundry work, fastenings, metalware, instrument. Traditionally the PTF shared the premises with the HI-TECH Expo and the 13th Petersburg Partnership of Small and Medium Business “Industry of the Regions: from specialization to integration”.

For the first time, the 13th Petersburg Partnership of Small and Medium Business organized a special zone Industrial Startup Village, which arranged a meeting of 10 startup companies with investors and public authorities. The zone presented innovative projects of companies, technology parks, and business incubators.
