Petrozavodsk State University held a roundtable discussion on the implementation of the project KO1089 Green Arctic Building – GrAB.

The discussion featured members of the international consortium, representatives of partner universities: Arctic University of Norway (Norway), University of Oulu (Finland), Murmansk State Technical University and Petrozavodsk State University.

The Norwegian partners of the project were represented by the Associate Professor of the Arctic University of Norway – UiT Svein-Erik Sveen and the Associate Professor of Narvik University College Eigil Roaldset. The Finnish delegation included the senior research fellow Antti H. Niemi and the teacher Hannu Lahtinen from the University of Oulu. Murmansk State Technical University delegated the employees of the Department of Construction, Heat Power Engineering and Transport Svetlana Buriachenko and Yana Karachentseva. Petrozavodsk State University was represented by the employees of the Department of Construction Technology and Management Aleksandr Kuzmenkov and Zakhar Voronin.

Among the participants of the discussion also was the Director of the Energoeffectivnoe domostroenie partner-organization Artem Derbenev. The roundtable was moderated by the KO 1089 project manager at PetrSU Aleksandr Kuzmenkov.

The partners discussed the progress of the project and outlined its further development for 2019 and 2020. The participants also examined the principal technical issues, events, and activities required for the successful implementation and completion of the project. The partners evaluated and coordinated the potential exchange of technical and scientific information concerning the implementation of the project.
